Even more shocking is that I was just by-catch Original complaint/expulsion demand was against
@DawnFurness for simply ‘LIKING’ my tweet – I was added when it was noticed that I was a member too She’s been targetted for speaking at a@Womans_Place_UK meeting

Thanks to all for messages of support, much appreciated, apologies only replying with a ‘like’ but overwhelmed with things to do & really need to prioritise getting an income somehow (dj 60/70th birthdays a speciality – ‘a great dance & an early night’
Thinking of gigs-gone-by I remember dj’in at a Women Firefighter’s conference in
#Sheffield back in the 90’s – a great night – mebbee yous were there@SianeeQFSM &@luluchops1 ?- End of conversation
So sorry Andy. Surely no one can trust

If the challenor debacle didn’t wake them up then I’m afraid they will be a lost cause until the shit really hits the fan. In the meantime there are serious environmental issues they are neglecting while chasing woke points.
They’re finished.

Oh FFS.
The Green Ouroboros strikes again. Zero shame, zero insight, triumvirate of shame
#PeakClapTrap You’re no alone.
THEIR LOSS
I think you’re better off out of there, the party has just gone completely mad – that statement they issued. However I’m sure it’s a huge blow considering all you have given to the party over the years. They seem to be celebrating hunting down and getting rid of anyone GC
- New conversation
Andy, what was the process for this?
I had a disciplinary hearing on 9th March. It was actually added on to a complaint/expulsion demand against
@DawnFurness for simply LIKING my tweet – she has clearly been targetted for speaking at a@Womans_Place_UK meeting last yearSo now I’m struggling to vote Green
I left
@TheGreenParty after the Challenor abuse scandal. Their continued adherence to rules he helped write shows them to be anti-women and anti-child.I was appalled by the Challenor scandal. Due to the Brexit shambles, Caroline Lucas’s performance, concern re climate change I had just concluded that voting Green was my likely decision. Then within minutes I saw this. Sadly I think you’re right.
I’m vehemently anti fracking and agree with much of the green party’s progressive policies, but their failure to safeguard and failure to act since they whitewashed their own report is a disgrace. Unless/Until they act I could not in good conscience vote for them.
Aimee Challenor has gone to the Liberal Democrats, who recently told women they’re not real feminists unless they follow the TRA line. So all the major parties have gone ‘woke’ and/or support Brexit. So it’s a bit of a pickle.

Ridiculous! Sorry to hear that, but it really is their loss.
Sorry to hear this Andy. I’ve a feeling that in two years time they are going to be universally revealed to be the weak fools they are are and you will be a vindicated champion of sense.
As a lifelong
@TheGreenParty supporter it really saddens me to say they have completely lost their way, lost their credibility and lost my vote. All for a few woke cookies.
Bloody hell, Andy. I am actually speechless. Two words. Aimee Challenor. Have the GP learned nothing? That they’re embracing identity politics when collectivism and collective action is what’s needed now more than ever is just so bonkers. Labour Party the same.
Wow. They can get to fxck. You have just shown them up for what they are again.
You’re well rid
Unbelievable Andy. U must be in shock! Solidarity and respect
Jesus christ
So sorry to hear this, Andy. It’s absurdly disproportionate. I’ve just cancelled my own membership – it was due to renew automatically next month. The GP are still the party best matched to my own politics, but I can’t keep subscribing while this fuckery continues.
this is terrible
So sorry Andy. I can sympathise with the post ‘Surely no one can trust
@TheGreenParty now.’ I just find this unbelievable with the deep knowledge you have of safeguarding issues for young people – something that the leaders of the party seem to be ignorant of.
In the current debacle of major parties my other home would be the Greens. But they lost me forever over the incident of calling women “non-men.”
Ironic that the
#GreenParty is so toxic. And so fanatical that they’ve blocked me for challenging them over Challenor. It’s a failing democratic party that’s afraid to listen to voters
So gutted about this. Can we start a new party?
Sorry to hear this
you can still come to conference if as a non member so would love to see you there
- New conversation
Did they tell you which tweet?
Yep, it involved me mistakenly assuming David ‘Baloo’ Challenor helped produce both the graphics in this tweet when in fact he apparently just made the blue one The actual tweet I made was therefore untrue, so no point in drawing more attention to it really
The tweet that got me suspended (which I’ve now deleted) was earlier in this thread
Amazing. The creator of the graphic was the rapist the Green Party wanted to cover up, and who they failed to take action on. So what they are essentially saying is “we don’t want you to connect us to David Challenor” .
- End of conversation
When you work our who the hell to vote for Andy, do let us know. They are ridiculous.
Sorry to hear this Andy. Keep Going!!
Dear oh dear. Can you appeal it?
- New conversation
I would if Aimee Chanellor would ever have been suspended?
AC was given a ‘no fault’ suspension eventually after a public outcry, & then resigned, citing Caroline Lucas’s agreeing to meet
@Womans_Place_UK & calls for re-examining my suspension &@Olivia4Hersham ‘s expulsion as reasonsReally? The thing with my expulsion was the they broke their own rules. Didn’t offer a viable opportunity for me to defend myself in person and didn’t consider my appeal. Regardless of personal objections due process should be followed.
- End of conversation
Don’t worry about it. The Green Party have disgraced themselves over their lack of research into “the next big thing” (which turns into disaster – see Palm Oil) and their infatuation with tax upon tax upon tax, as the cure for all ills
disgraceful and abhorrent.
Really sorry to see that they have done this to you.
- New conversation
The Green Party is going to lose a lot more people after the ‘Leaders Team’ statement yesterday. Any job seekers want to organise their Conference?
Wtf??? They have learned nothing, have they?
Two years? It’s time to take the hint.
This is crazy
- New conversation
@carolinelucas This on your watch & you know it is a witch hunt .What are you going to do about this? Will you have the courage to speak out again.I will never vote Green again & as for the complete disregard for safeguarding .What a corrupt party. With you Andy.It is depressing beyond words that the most enlightened, most left-wing and least authoritarian political party in the UK has made itself prisoner to the aggressive, repressive, corporate funded, silence-all-those-who-disagree transgender ideologues. This will have its price.
- End of conversation
So sorry Andy. Solidarity
Got a strong suspicion your time will come and this will be a badge of honour. Until then the Greens have lost my vote.
- New conversation
How much of this is payback for you not letting the CSA’s Challenor findings simply slide out of view?
Good point
- End of conversation
I always gave a vote to the Greens up here in Scotland. Since they’ve become biology deniers, I won’t. I won’t for any anybody or party that believes magic words can change a man in to a woman, not even to the the Bingo Organising Committee
This is sad. Green politics in England deserves better than the shitshow that is
@TheGreenParty . & before the Gender Stasi get interested, I’ve already left bcos of precisely this issue – though I’m now in Scotland. CBA to join Scottish Greens. Life’s too short for this crap.
I will neve vote Green
Sorry to her that Andy, I’d hoped there’d be a review of policy after the Challenor debacle, (for many of the GP members I’ve talked to, it caused them to begin to explore the issue afresh, including from GC perspectives). But seems GP approach remains silencing dissenters…
If its any comfort, I believe Groucho Marx was right in his assessment of such situations.
OMG are they doubling down? What is going on?
So sorry Andy. You have real integrity and this decision reflects on the Green Party rather than you. Disgraceful
If Extinction Rebellion turned the same way as the Green Party they’d lose my support and donations immediately. Thankfully I see no sign of that happening. Maybe refugees from the Green Party could get involved if they aren’t already?
- New conversation
I think it’s pretty clear that Twitter isn’t the place to have this discussion. If you have concerns they’re best directed to the appropriate person at central office.
@IanMiddletonX, you are making a fundamental error. Your#tweet implies that#GPEW#London staff & governance may be 1)Reasonable 2)Sane 3)Fair-handed 4)Democratically process led. It is none of these. At the moment.I’m simply suggesting that if a tweet caused the problem in the first place, Twitter probably isn’t a good place to air further grievances
- End of conversation
Green party don’t deserve you
- New conversation
Not just the Greens. Signed an ex SNP member.
Indeed not. I was a LibDem member until last month and a lifelong LibDem voter.
There are many labour and ex labour members in the same boat. This is a cross party issue and many trade unions
Yeah, ex Labour member here.
- End of conversation
I suspect we would not agree on a raft of policies, but this intolerance of any debate on really critical issues should concern us all.
I told my local GP campaigner, a lovely man, why I won’t let them put a sign in our front garden for this local election. I mentioned the shameful treatment of “dissenters” by the party. He was clueless. Had no idea what I was even talking about.
They are fucking bonkers mate. Better off out of there.
They are embarrassed because you caught them out
- New conversation
Very sorry to hear this Andy. The more the Greens indulge this anti-science ideology, the less credible & votable they become, & the easier it is for climate change deniers etc to dismiss them as irrational cranks. They’re doing irreparable damage to the environmental movement imo
Couldn’t agree more.

So sorry Andy. I’ve stopped campaigning for my council as a Labour Member . I too was a speaker at
#WPUK and my own council stopped our meeting. Greens would have been my alternative. Not now. This is the madness of herds.I left the Labour Party abd have rejoined so I can vote against all the woke bollocks. I love our MP but will struggle to campaign for her unless the LP sorts itself out.
- End of conversation
You’re better off out Andy. They’re a sad joke these days
I think this is what’s called “managing out” dissenting voices. G;ad I left them,,,,,and told them why
I cannot understand what Green has to do with misogyny, perversion and paedophilia
Sorry to hear this Andy. It seems that despite Challenor leaving those who were involved in supporting or excusing that behaviour are all still in place and with the same intolerant trans agenda. Can never consider them as a credible party again.
That statement they issued was a whitewash. No common sense. No consideration for women’s rights at all (anyone would think we weren’t half the population…?). You are better off out of it. They are more concerned with TRA than saving the planet!
The green party are an absolute joke, going nowhere fast. I wouldn’t want to be associated with a party that supports peadophila.
- New conversation
Have they got rid of Beatrix Campbell yet?
- New conversation
And risk the righteous adverse publicity? Not likely, is it?
I know there have been moves to kick her out…
Bea is a brilliant person who speaks her mind. If they kick her out, they’ll bring down crap on our party from far and wide, I’d hope, for that reason alone, that our panjandrums wouldn’t be that stupid. Not holding my breath, though…
I left the Lib Dems recently on pretty the same issue.
- End of conversation
Does the Green Party over there have the luxury of suspending people?
- New conversation
As someone else wisely pointed out, how can they use science to push for environmental protection and dismiss it in the case of biological sex? The Party has always been run by woke men. Women (non-men) are just there to do the organising and leg work.
Science thing beats me, critical thought flies out the window because?….(some sort of emotional blackmail is my answer)
- New conversation
What for? What’s the rationale for 2 years? GPEW continues to promote transcult ideology over science, and the human rights of girls, women and transsexuals. This rogue ideology sets back the Green cause in favour of fake science and big pharma. Losing dedicated Greens
